Terms of use
TravelDeals is a record of hotel prices we measure ourselves, and a feed of deals drawn from that record. These terms are short because the honest ones are.

Prices
Every deal states when we last verified its price. That timestamp is the claim: the price was live when we checked it, at the time shown. Hotel prices change continuously, so the rate you see at the booking site’s checkout is the one that counts — if it disagrees with ours, theirs is current and ours is history. When that happens, tell us; a stale price on a published deal is a bug we want to know about.
We record and report prices; we don’t set them. Where a deal links out to a booking site, the booking is between you and that site and their terms govern the reservation.
Booking on our checkout
Where a deal is booked on our own checkout, the reservation is with Nuitée Connect, the merchant of record named on the checkout page: their booking terms and the cancellation terms shown to you before you pay govern it, your card statement carries their name, and any refund is made by them the way you paid. We are not the merchant, and we never see your card details.
The cancellation terms for a particular stay are the ones printed in the summary on the checkout page itself, beside the price. They come from the hotel through Nuitée and differ from one rate to the next, so they are shown to you before you pay rather than described here. If a booking is non-refundable the page says so in those words; if it is refundable the page names the deadline and the city’s local time.
To cancel or to correct a name, use the link in your confirmation email. It needs no login and it keeps working whether or not you have an account with us.
No warranty
The site is provided as is. We work to keep the record accurate and the site up, but we can’t promise it is error-free or always available, and we aren’t liable for decisions made on it. The strongest claim we make anywhere is a measured number with a date on it.
How we make money
When you book here, we buy the room from a supplier and sell it to you, and what we make is the difference. It has no bearing on what we publish. The full picture is one page: how we make money.
Using the site
Read it, link to it, quote it with attribution — the record is public on purpose. What we ask: don’t misrepresent our measurements or pass them off as your own, don’t use the site unlawfully, and if you create an account, keep it to yourself and don’t abuse it.
Changes
