How we make money
We make money on the rooms we sell, not on what we publish. The threshold is a number, not a judgement call.

How it works
When you book here, you book on this site and pay here. We buy the room from a supplier and sell it to you, and what we make is the difference between the two. Our booking partner supplies and charges for the stay, so their name is what appears on your card statement.
If a deal sends you to a hotel or a booking site, you finish the booking there instead. If that booking pays us a commission it comes out of their side, never added to yours, and it changes neither the price you are shown nor what qualifies.
Why it doesn’t change what we publish
A deal qualifies when its price clears the numeric comparison with similar hotels and, once enough history exists, the room’s own recorded prices. Its page names the comparison used. What we make isn’t an input to that calculation — there is no field for it. We can’t promote a hotel because it earns us more, because “earns us more” has nowhere to go in the maths. The same qualification rules apply when we make nothing on a room. Qualifying deals are selected automatically, then checked with the supplier before publication.
