About TravelDeals
A discount is only a discount if you know the normal price. Nobody publishes the normal price, so we started measuring it: the same hotel rooms, the same standardised question, every night. Everything on this site is built on that record.
What we are
A measurement operation before it is anything else. We track 545 properties across 12 cities, store every answer without editing it, and publish a deal only when today’s price sits well below what our own record says is normal. The full method is public, including what we won’t claim.
What we are not
Nothing here is sponsored and nothing is pay-to-list. No hotel can buy a place on the site, and no hotel can buy its way off it. We earn a commission when you book through our links — disclosed in full — and that commission has no bearing on what qualifies: the threshold is a number, not a judgement call.
Who runs it
TravelDeals is built and run by one operator, not a content team. The same person who maintains the price pipeline reads every deal before it is published. That is the whole staff — which is why the site leans so hard on measurement: one person can’t visit six hundred hotels, but one person can check that every number on the site traces to a recorded price.
